A hell of a year.
I can make resolutions, but I know for sure that they’re going to change or that I’m not going to commit to them. So instead of looking ahead, I’ll look back. What a hell of a year. Some of the best, some of the worst. My memory of this year is fresher than that of other years (well duh, it’s the most recent one), but it seems like a lot more has happened.
2011: if there is no bad, then where is the good?
jotting down some stuff that happened this year
-took my first step towards a career that I’m passionate about.
-found my favorite class of all time (4th period culinary arts) because Calvin and Summer were there with me
-Dad was diagnosed with colon cancer, and he’s dealing with hypertension.
-Wisdom camp! damn, it was exhilarating. I still have that feeling of being lifted way up high. Self esteem totally went up after all that dancing.
-some unexpected AP scores & driver’s license (I was stressing out over the license test way more than my APs)
-4H camp. it’ll always be my home.
-blessed with the luckiest class schedule for junior year
-some of the worst fights with my mom
-but then i got closer to her in the end
-met some pretty awesome guys, but one stood out the most.
End of the world 2012, bring it on.
